Meet Dewey Haney
Dewey Haney brings 22 years of solid experience to the Vancouver, Washington mortgage industry and has a refined sensitivity to his clients’ needs. An alumnus of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, Dewey has worked for two years as an Operations/Sales Manager, Senior Mortgage Banker, and Reverse Mortgage Specialist in the mortgage industry which has given him a wealth of knowledge to pass along to his clients and referral partners. In order to broaden his scope in the financial services industry, he also worked as a financial advisor at UBS. This truly was an amazing opportunity in which Dewey gained a greater understanding of the financial markets, cash flow management, customer service, and the importance of building and maintaining relationships through that experience.
Dewey is a founding member and past president of Northwest Referral Group (NRG) Clackamas, a past treasurer of the Portland, Oregon chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors, and is the Past President and current board member of the Community Housing Resource Center (CHRC). Dewey grew up in the scenic area of Gig Harbor, Washington. He now lives in Vancouver, Washington with his three little daughters and his scruffy little four-legged son, Porter.
As a locally-owned and operated direct lender, Summit Mortgage Corporation allows Dewey the ability to access more programs and provide highly competitive rates while giving superior service. Dewey is a strong facilitator to his new and long-term clients and is able to provide options for their ever-changing needs. Providing a high level of service to clients and referral partners includes educating his borrowers, whose experience range from first-time home buyers to sophisticated investors. Call, text or email him today. Dewey welcomes your questions and makes the time for you.

I know all of the 10’s looks excessive, but Dewey, Andrew, Rami and their pet wall were outstanding in every way that mattered to us. We are deeply ignorant of the mortgage finance process. Dewey and his team were patient, answered our questions and made the adventure as painless as possible. Those 10’s are richly deserved.
I can’t say enough great things about Dewey and his team. I’ve been working in the industry for 15 years and have the opportunity to meet and work with many loan officers. However, there’s nobody else that I would trust more to take care of my personal transaction than Dewey and the Summit Mortgage [Corporation] team. Please convey to them how wonderful they all are!!!!
Dewey and his team did a great job as usual; this is the third or fourth refinance I have gotten with Summit over the last 20 years.
